Who would have thought a brewery could be powered by the sun?

Tiger Beer was first brewed to refresh against the searing heat of Asia’s sun. Now we’re using that very sun to power our brewery. Tiger Beer became the first solar powered brewery in the world in 2015. The energy saved in the brewing process allowed us to reduce our CO2 emissions by approximately 20%. We strive to make every Tiger product with minimal impact on the environment. Our global return policy allows us to reuse bottles up to 9 times, reducing our glass waste and in 2016 we were recognised as the 3rd most sustainable company in Vietnam. Sustainability is Tiger’s vision. Not because it has to be,  but because it is the right thing to do.
