From Malayan Breweries Limited in Singapore, the world's first batch of Tiger Beer greeted the world with a refreshing beer for a tropical climate, pioneering a new category called Asian Beer.

In 2016, Tiger Beer kicked off its iconic Tiger Street Food campaign, providing the ultimate street food experience. Since then, the platform has progressed into an annual celebration of street food, from the world's first fully immersive virtual street food fesival in 2020, to inviting Malaysians to join the Hottest Hunt as they discovered and recommended the hottest street food spots nationwide in 2022

A cold brew launches in Malaysia, offering crystal cold filtered beer at -1oC for the ultimate refreshment. Tiger Crystal is ultra-refreshing, easy-to-drink, and less bitter than other beers - providing the ultimate refreshment for drinkies looking for something different.
ROARING INTO YEAR 88 WITH TIGER 88
2020
It was an auspicious double-celebration for Tiger Beer as we celebrated our 88th anniversary together with the Year of the Rat. To truly 'double the Huat', we collaborated with local artist Namewee to launch this Chinese New Year track, streetwear label Pestle & Mortar, and Pavillion KL to introduce Tiger HUAT HUAT Bazaar for shoppers to get unique handicrafts, play exciing games, win exclusive merchandise and more.
ROARING INTO THE METAVERSE
2022
To commemorate the once-every-12-years Year of the Tiger, we launched The Tiger Archives, a collection of 6,688 NFTs featuring Chinese archival tiger artworks inspired by Tiger Beer bottles through the years.
30% of sales from the NFTs were used to kickstart The Uncage Fund platform, which supported local artists & musicians through a series of grants.
